Day 2: MacIntosh Brook – Cape Breton Highland National Park

MacIntosh Brook is a scenic trail with a fascinating waterfall at the end. Walking the whole trail only takes 30 to 45 minutes, but I’m positive you will take a longer hike when once you begin to fall in love with the trail. For this journey, I enjoyed the scenery for two hours. I started my trip at 1:50PM with the weather at 8C (47F).

Blomidon Provincial Park – December 2013

Blomidon Provincial Park is a stunning park located in Nova Scotia, Canada. The park has remarkable trails, camping and a beach. I learned about this park from studying Google maps. It is a 1 hour and 40 minute drive from the city of Halifax. It is a beautiful drive when you get closer to the park when you drive on North Mountain and see Minas Basin.

Victoria Park – December 2013

Victoria Park is a beautiful park with two waterfalls named Joseph Howe Falls and Waddell Falls, located in Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada. I learned about this park from a coworker during the spring of 2013. The park is a one hour drive from the city of Halifax.
